PM Attends Cremation Ceremony for Prince Norodom Ranariddh

PHNOM PENH: Phnom Penh: On 8 December 2021, Prime Minister Hun Sen has led Royal Government officials to attend the cremation ceremony of Prince Norodom Ranariddh. The cremation ceremony was held in front of Wat Botum, Phnom Penh, with the presence of the King of Cambodia, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, the Royal Family and many Cambodian governments officials.

The Prime Minister has expressed his deepest condolences and regret for the loss of Prince Norodom Ranariddh. He considered that this is a loss of a noble person in the royal family, who was patriotic, religious, with the will of a king, sharp conscience and the shrewdest.

Prime Minister Hun Sen says, “Please bow down with all our hearts to dedicate a prayer to the soul of Prince Norodom Ranariddh. May he be born in the death of all nations, and please do not weep.”
